Amazing Team Flying Bulls
The Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team is a Czech aerobatic team. The team fly four XtremeAir Sbach 342 aircraft, painted in the colours of their sponsor, Red Bull energy drink. All the team aircraft use white smoke generators during air shows.

HANGAR-8 The slightly different hangar As a functional compliment to Hangar‑7, a further highly unusual hangar for restoration and maintenance of the airplanes belonging to the Flying Bulls was put up very close by: Hangar‑8 is directly across from Hangar‑7, and it fulfills the function of a maintenance facility. Ground was broken for Hangar‑8 in early May 2002. The building was officially inspected by December 2003. In early 2004, all maintenance activities of the Flying Bulls were moved to Hangar‑8 from Hangar 9, which stands on a property adjoining Salzburg Airport and had served as a temporary facility. In terms of working conditions and technical installations, Hangar‑8 exceeds all the usual international standards, and that’s no surprise: airplanes such as those flown by the Flying Bulls demand extensive, highly professional attention.
Douglas DC-6 Skymaster
President Harry S Truman was the first global statesman to use a DC-6 for personal transportation – but he was by no means the last. The DC-6B in the Flying Bulls collection was originally ordered by Marshal Tito. The President of Yugoslavia used the aircraft between 1958 and 1975, after which it passed to Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda.
The aircraft was later abandoned at Lusaka Airport, and bought by a Namibian aviation company that began a restoration project. In 2000, this project passed into the hands of the Flying Bulls. The airworthy DC-6 made the ferry flight to Salzburg, where thousands of hours of work saw it restored to its former glory, with an all-new interior and four new Pratt & Whitney R 2800 'Double-Wasp' engines.
The DC-6 is undoubtedly the pride of the Flying Bulls. It makes regular appearances at air displays – but it also winds back the clock occasionally when it's used as a luxury passenger transport, just as it was 60 years ago.
